FAQ
Q1    What must I do to send a picture or a set of pictures for a quote?
A1    The image input/ upload fields within the "Request a Quote" Form allow you to initially send me up to three images
 (.jpng, .png or .jpg). If you don’t have digital files of your images, simply take the photos with your cell phone (for quotation purposes*) and input them, one by one. You can also attach the images to an Email message to me especially if you have multiple images. I will reply within the shortest delay with either a quote or (rarely) a request for more information. All your files and data will be kept private and in the strictest confidentiality.

* NB. See Q4 and A4.

Q2    Is there a minimum order?
A2    Minimum is 3 images or a CD$60 service value for first-time customers opening their first file.

Q3    What are the terms of payment?
A3    Terms of payment depend on the project & will be part of the quotation. They are conventional                 and reasonable.

Q4   What must I do to prepare and submit a photo set once I accept the quotation & place an order?
A4    There are 3 options (choice to be covered in the quotation & order):
    1)    Package your original prints, slides and/or films and mail them to my P.O. Box (see “About”). You may email alert me of their dispatch. I will acknowledge receipt. Allow for a brief quarantine delay and safekeeping, followed by reasonable times for processing, and delivery to you of all agreed items (logistical details will be part of your order). OR
    2)    Create high resolution scans of your original photos and email them to me. If you are familiar with the scanning process, you can do it yourself or, otherwise, have your local printer or photocopy shop scan them for you. OR
    3)    If you are within driving distance and need to have your original photos re-photographed at your premises, I will be pleased to quote for and provide the service comfortably at your convenience but subject to and in full respect of hygiene and safety protocols.

Q5   What does “mounting” involve?
A5   Mounting service may include:
1) Cutting matt board to standard sizes and fixing the restored, custom-printed images.
2) Using commercially available plaques (or my custom made plaques up to 4 feet wide) for custom-size mounting.

Q6   What is covered by "small albums?"

A6   Two types of small albums are illustrated by the Gallery Samples; both feature removable pages for expansion or changes. The first album illustrates my labelling service; either by separate labels or by text within the photos.  The second album is of linen finish, of higher quality.  These albums are a suitable way to have your restored photo prints mounted in a lasting way to be admired by friends and family. Details will vary depending on market products but my quotations will be friendly.
