Mikey Photo

I’m a Montreal-based photographer, author and retired international civil engineer. My photo journeys have been across the world, through the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa. My passion for photography spans over five decades, beginning at a time when taking and saving pictures was a much different affair.

Today, most of us have a cell phone camera to shoot hundreds of photos and videos but the best moments, the gems, even when recorded, are often lost or forgotten, consigned to storage within a sea of disorganized images.

Over the years, I’ve moved from a chemical dark room to the wondrous world of digital photography and perfected my skills saving countless damaged photos for friends and family. I founded Mikey Photo Restoration to help people preserve, organize and display their most cherished photo memories for generations to come, in the same caring manner with which I’ve protected my own family’s photographic heirlooms.
